I am so excited to share that I have begun work at Studio 828 Photography in Asheville. Joining forces with the incredible Cat Ford-Coates has been such a dream. At Studio 828 Photography, we focus on the transformation of clients and bringing their vision to life. From the design consultation to the in-person image reveal - our goal is to create beautiful, authentic portraits of you!

2013 was a whirlwind year for me - in every way possible.

To begin, my amazing husband became my partner/2nd shooter and we decided to take on WEDDINGS! As far back as I can remember, I've had a camera in hand at weddings I've attended - and been in. But this year, I figured I should finally take the plunge into wedding photography. I didn't know what to expect and wow! - there will never be enough to learn in terms of wedding photography - and I LOVE that challenge. {Challenge accepted}.

On the home front, we've had a roller coaster of events take place - from illness to blessings to everything in between. I'd like to think that all of these combined have made me stronger & more and more thankful for the life I live. The place where I live. The family and friends I have.
And all the LOVE.
I'm one happy lady living with my family in the North Carolina countryside with our chickens, dogs, fishes & bunny!

This year also took me (and Aaron) in a new direction - video production.
As this is still a new venture, there's not too much to share yet.
But we are excited to see where it might take us - and where it has taken us so far!

For 2014, I see many exciting things coming our way and I can't wait to share with all of you.
I will continue to take on weddings this year, as well as portrait sessions.
However, the amount of weddings I will take on for 2014 might be smaller than this past year as a few other events will be consuming my time and energy - I'll update as these come to fruition ;-)
